On August 12, 2019, gospel singer and Switch TV presenter Kush Tracey took to social media to address a disturbing issue - a fake Tinder profile using her photos.
A 21-year-old woman, identified as Maggie, had been sharing Tracey's photos on her Tinder dating app profile, claiming they were her own.
Tracey, who has been open about her transition from secular music to gospel, expressed her disappointment and frustration with the situation.
'I do not look for love/fwb or whatever online asiii and if you are on tinder and ever happen to meet “me” there just report it’s a FAKE account,' Tracey wrote on social media.
She also offered words of advice to her fans, urging them to have confidence in themselves and use their own pictures when looking for relationships online.
'HAVE CONFIDENCE IN YOURSELF AND USE YOUR OWN PICTURES TO LOOK FOR WHATEVER YOU ARE LOOKING FOR MUWACHE KUTUTAFUTISHA VITU HATUTAFUTI?'
