On August 11, 2019, a fire incident in Tassia left six residential houses in ruins.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire started at around 4 PM and quickly spread to the other houses.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, thanks to the swift response of firefighters and local residents who helped put out the fire.
One tenant who attempted to jump from the second floor was rescued by people at the scene, averting a potential tragedy.
