Marques Brownlee Launches 'Waveform' Podcast

On June 14, 2019, Marques Brownlee, also known as MKBHD, launched a podcast called Waveform in collaboration with his friend and producer Andrew Manganelli, and the influencer agency Studio 71.

Waveform marks one of the first major non-YouTube projects undertaken by Brownlee, who has over 9 million subscribers on his tech-focused channel MKBHD. The podcast is available on Apple, Spotify, and Google's podcast platforms, but unfortunately, it is not available on YouTube.

According to Brownlee, 'Over the last ten years and one thousand plus videos, I’ve built one of the largest tech channels on YouTube. But even through all of that, I’ve realized I have more to share. I’m excited to launch Waveform, which will explore everything from tech news and new products to the videos that surround them.'

On the first episode of Waveform, Marques and Andrew discuss the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Note 10, upcoming phones, and what is expected to come in future episodes.

While Marques Brownlee is not the only YouTuber running a podcast, creators like Philip DeFranco, Logan Paul, and David Dobrik have also launched successful podcasts that get uploaded to secondary YouTube channels.
