Hit and Run Driver Sought in Timau Road Accident

On an unspecified date, a hit and run accident occurred near Timau, Meru County, leaving a victim in a critical condition.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the occupants of a white Nissan X Trail (registration number KCT 822T) fled the scene without identifying themselves or providing aid to the victim.

The DCI has urged any member of the public with information regarding the accident to report the matter to the nearest police station.

Statistics from the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) show that in 2018, 32 vehicles involved in hit and run accidents were never traced.
