Manchester United's 4-0 win over Chelsea at Old Trafford marked a nightmare start for Frank Lampard as the new Chelsea boss.

On August 11, 2019, Marcus Rashford opened the scoring for Manchester United after just 18 minutes with a penalty kick, awarded after he was fouled by Kurt Zouma in the box.

However, Manchester United failed to increase their lead in the first half, despite creating several scoring opportunities.

It wasn't until the second half that Manchester United found the back of the net again, with Anthony Martial scoring in the 57th minute after a low cross from Andreas Pereira.

Just two minutes later, Rashford completed his brace with a superb finish, putting the game out of Chelsea's reach.

Summer signing Daniel James sealed the win for Manchester United with a stunning finish in the 79th minute, as the Red Devils secured a 4-0 win over Chelsea.

Chelsea hit the woodwork twice but rarely tested David de Gea once they fell behind, as Manchester United got their season off to a winning start.
