On August 11, 2019, the world witnessed a thrilling ride with the release of Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. Amidst the explosions, car chases, and epic fight scenes, a fun surprise awaited viewers - a cameo appearance by Ryan Reynolds.
Reynolds, known for his roles in Deadpool and Detective Pikachu, played Locke, a CIA operative and former colleague of Dwayne Johnson's character Hobbs. In a particularly amusing scene, Locke shows Hobbs his admiration, but with a twist - a tattoo eerily similar to Johnson's.
The Rock recently shared a behind-the-scenes photo of himself and Reynolds, expressing his delight at working with the actor on Hobbs & Shaw. 'I've known this brilliant SOB for years and we jumped at the opportunity to mash up our tequila and gin chemistry to deliver some magic for the audience,' he said, referencing Reynolds' status as a gin entrepreneur.
Reynolds responded with a witty remark, 'I can only imagine how upset I was to discover this.' The two actors will soon team up again in the upcoming Netflix heist movie Red Notice, alongside Gal Gadot.
