On August 11, 2019, KCB RFC made a triumphant return to the Dala Sevens rugby tournament, emerging victorious with a 30-5 win over Menengai Oilers in the main cup final at Mamboleo Showground in Kisumu.
Levi Amunga started the scoring for KCB with a try, but the conversion attempt fell short. Menengai Oilers quickly responded with a try from Austin Sikutwa, and Vincent Onyala soon added another try for KCB before the first half break.
As the second half commenced, Davis Chenge scored a pushover try, extending KCB's lead. Michael Wanjala, Ojee, and Captain Andrew Amonde also contributed to the team's victory, securing their second win of the 2019 7s series.
Meanwhile, Impala RFC demonstrated their dominance in the 3rd and 4th playoff match, defeating Nakuru RFC 36-0. The next leg of the 6-round series is scheduled to take place in Nakuru at the Prinsloo sevens.
