Jose Mourinho has taken up a new role as an analyst with Sky Sports, where he will provide expert commentary on Premier League matches, including the highly anticipated clash between his former teams Manchester United and Chelsea on Sunday.
The Portuguese manager, who was sacked by Manchester United in December last year, has joined a panel of experienced pundits, including Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Graeme Souness, and Jamie Redknapp.
"The Premier League is a special competition for me, one that takes so much hard work to win and you just can’t take your eyes off the matches every week," Mourinho told Sky Sports in an interview.
"Sky Sports is the home of the Premier League and it’s a pleasure for me to join this team and help to understand and explain what happened in each match," he added.
Mourinho, who guided Chelsea to three Premier League titles in two spells, has stated that he plans to eventually return to management, but for now, he will focus on providing expert analysis and commentary on Sky Sports.
