Media personality Janet Mbugua has been open about her personal struggles, including a habit that she believes affects some of the people she interacts with.
According to her latest vlog, Ms. Mbugua often finds herself ghosting others, particularly when her trust is broken.
"The moment my trust is kind-of played, I can ghost very quickly," she stated.
However, Janet emphasized the importance of giving reasons before cutting off communication with an acquaintance, explaining that she tends to withdraw and isolate herself when dealing with personal issues.
She shared an instance where she asked a friend for coffee after realizing she had hurt them by withdrawing, and acknowledged that there were many people she had hurt in similar ways.
Janet encouraged her viewers to communicate openly with others, saying "you know what, I need to talk this out with this person as opposed to saying you know what, and I'm done!"
She also discussed her stubbornness, which she feared could interfere with her relationships, and clarified that having toxic habits doesn't necessarily mean someone is a bad person.
"Sometimes you need to manage them (toxic traits). Maybe they'll always be there, it's just about not projecting them in such a horrible way," she advised.
Janet's comments come as she reflects on her personal growth and relationships.
