President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to launch several mega projects in the Mt Kenya region during his upcoming visit, which is set to take place soon.
According to reliable sources, all State departments have been directed to prepare projects for commissioning by the President during the week-long visit.
The President's tour comes at a time when the Deputy President William Ruto's Tanga Tanga group has been accused of creating a perception that Mt Kenya was starved of development.
