Kenya, now with two points, faces an uphill battle to qualify after the loss, requiring a straight-sets victory against Egypt to have any hope of advancing.
Bitok, who previously coached Kenyan players, acknowledged the emotional weight of the defeat but emphasized tactical adjustments that proved decisive.
