Despite a dominant first half from Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur managed to turn the game around in the second half, with Tanguy Ndombele scoring his first goal for the club in the 73rd minute.
Harry Kane sealed the win with two goals in the 86th and 90th minute, securing three crucial points for Tottenham Hotspur.
John McGinn had given Aston Villa the lead in the 9th minute with a clinical finish, but Tottenham Hotspur's introduction of Christian Eriksen in the 64th minute marked a turning point in the game, with the team gaining 70% possession and completing 587 passes to Aston Villa's 262.
