As the country conducts its census, the Education Ministry has made the decision to extend the school holiday by a week. This means that schools are expected to resume on September 2nd.

The government has taken this step to ensure that students are not affected by the census, which kicked off on the night of August 24th-25th and will run until August 31st.

Originally, schools were set to reopen on August 26th, but the new dates will give students and their families more time to prepare for the new academic term.
