Kenyan football fans are in for a thrilling encounter as Sudanese side Al Ahly Shandy prepares to take on Bandari in a Caf Confederation Cup tie on Saturday at the Moi International Sports Center in Kasarani.
Coach Mohammed 'Mazda' Abdalla, who has previously coached the Sudan national team, is confident that his team will emerge victorious, citing their experience in facing Kenyan teams and their preparations for the match.
'I know what to expect from them as I know Kenyan football and their style of play. I have faced Kenyan teams many times and I have therefore prepared my boys for the task ahead,' Abdalla said after the team's training session on Friday.
Abdalla joined the team just a week ago, but is optimistic that they will do well continentally, with a target of at least getting past the group stage of the Confederation Cup this year.
The match is set to kick off at 3pm, with tickets retailing at Sh100.
