On August 9, 2019, Bayern Munich's pre-season friendly against FC Rottach-Egern turned out to be a one-sided affair, with the German club emerging victorious 23-0.
The match, held at the training camp in the Bavaria region, saw Bayern Munich's top players in action. Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Muller, Corentin Tolisso, Leon Goretzka, and Kwasi Okyere Wriedt all scored hat-tricks in the match.
The match began with Bayern Munich taking the lead just six minutes in, courtesy of a goal from Renato Sanches. The lead was quickly doubled by Leon Dajaku, and Lewandowski scored three goals in 20 minutes, separated by Sanches' second.
Bayern Munich's dominance continued throughout the match, with Serge Gnabry scoring in the 30th minute and Tolisso scoring four goals in a row to put Bayern Munich 11-0 up at halftime.
At the break, Bayern Munich's coach, Niko Kovac, made several changes to the team, bringing in debutant Lucas Hernandez, who had recently joined the club from Atletico Madrid for £73 million.
The second half saw Bayern Munich continue their scoring spree, with Muller and Wriedt scoring their first goals of the match within ten minutes. Highly-rated newcomer Sarpreet Singh also scored, followed by Muller and Goretzka, who scored a quickfire brace.
Goretzka completed his hat-trick after a Lard Dietrich own goal, and Wriedt doubled his tally. Alexander Nollenberger also scored before Wriedt and Muller finished off the match in front of a crowd of 2,500.
