On a Sunday night in August 2019, Kevin Obia, the CEO of A1 Entertainment, threw an exclusive party at his residence to celebrate his birthday. The invite-only event was a major bash that only had the top ballers and entertainment personalities in attendance.

The party was a grand affair, with Belaire being the official drink of the night. Whether you were a lightweight or a 'go-hard' partygoer, the party was not going to stop until the break of dawn. And stop it did not, with the party continuing well into the morning hours.

Among the guests were Shaffie Weru, A1 Entertainment's director and Obia's associate, who was there to ensure his boy had a ballers' treat. Vera, who seemed to be unusually close with the birthday boy, was also in attendance, and was seen toasting and cheering with Obia. Prezzo, on the other hand, was in his element, 'eating life with a big spoon' and drinking like a king.

Media personality Joe Muchiri, DJs Incredible and Purpl, Ben Kangangi, Eric One Wash, ShaqTheYungig, Telehmani, Naomi Wamboe, Angela Wambui, Costa Montana, Kensol Kensito, Nathan Gathegi, Lisa Delique, and Ruena Kiarie were all in attendance, making it a truly star-studded event.

At midnight, the big cheers went up as Balaire girls sprung the surprise bottles, marking a highlight of the night. It was a cool social gathering where everyone mingled freely, and Obia took the opportunity to thank his supporters for their years of backing.

“I was just saying a big thank you to the people who have been supporting me through the years. You know that when it’s a ballers party, (the) party don’t stop. It’s never about the money but living it up,” Obia told Pulse.
