The latest victim is Belinda Akeyo Achieng, a Fourth Year Bachelor of Education student, whose lifeless body was found with blood oozing from her mouth and private parts.
Her death comes two weeks after the mysterious death of Fouzia Adan Ibrahim, a 22-year-old Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance student, whose body was found by a friend at Makuti estate in Lurambi trading centre.
On June 18, Sydney Ogeto Ndege, a 21-year-old Environmental Science student from Birongo village, Rigoma in Nyamira County, was found dead in his house, just days after sitting his final Fourth Year examination.
These incidents follow the deaths of two other students: Peter Kamotho Kamau, a Third Year Commerce and Finance student, who was found dead in a rental house at Kefinco estate on March 7, and Clement Omollo Ogendo, a Fourth Year Information Technology student, whose body was found dumped near a timber yard at Lurambi estate on February 10.
