On August 9, 2019, Zari Hassan, a South-African based businesswoman, shared her thoughts on beauty and intelligence in a candid interview with Tanzania's Ayo TV.
According to Hassan, women in today's world are abundant, but those with both physical beauty and intelligence are rare. She emphasized that men are no longer looking for physical beauty, but rather a woman's inner qualities.
When asked about Tanzanian women who admire her, Hassan responded in Swahili, 'Sifatilii wadada wa Tanzania, wabongo.'
Despite her confidence, Hassan acknowledged that she is a beautiful woman, both physically and in character, and doesn't need anyone's opinion to validate her worth.
