High Court Judge Grace Ngenye upheld a decision by a magistrate court to bar Waititu from accessing his county offices, pending the conclusion of a corruption case against him.
Waititu had moved to the High Court after a Milimani law court released him on bail but ordered him not to step at his county offices.
While upholding the lower court decision, Ngenye ruled that it would be immoral and untenable for the governor to continue performing his duties while facing trial over a serious crime of stealing from the people he was elected to serve.
