FKF Nairobi County League Playoffs 2019 ¶
On August 11th, 2019, the best teams in Nairobi region leagues will gather at Camp Toyoyo for the FKF Nairobi County league playoffs.
The playoffs will feature the top two teams from the sub-county league, the top two from the county league, and the top two from the regional league, competing in separate categories for trophies.
According to Michael Ouma, Chairman of the Nairobi East Branch, teams participating in the playoffs are already champions in their respective leagues, and the playoffs will serve as an opportunity to elevate them to the next level.
As part of the event, football champions from Kibera, Korogocho, and Huruma will be in attendance.
FKF Secretary General Dickson Doyo emphasized the importance of the playoffs in identifying and nurturing talent at the grassroots level, stating, "Sports activities is what makes youths distracted from crime and other vices and what the playoffs are set to achieve is to bring a positive mind set to the youths."
