On August 9, 2019, Vivo announced the Y15 smartphone in Kenya, boasting impressive features at an affordable price.
The Vivo Y15 features a 6.35-inch LCD HD display with a resolution of 1544 x 720 pixels, making it perfect for watching videos and browsing the web.
The phone's camera system includes a triple-lens setup with a 13MP primary sensor, 8MP secondary sensor, and 2MP depth sensor, allowing users to capture high-quality photos and videos.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y15 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage that can be expanded via a microSD card.
The phone runs on Funtouch OS 9, based on Android 9 Pie, and features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, OTG support, GPS, FM Radio, and Dual-SIM capabilities.
The Vivo Y15 is available in two color options: Burgundy Red and Aqua Blue.
According to reports, the phone is expected to retail at around KES. 18,000 in Kenya.
