Meet the man who's been living on his own for a while, trying to navigate the world of adulthood. He's got a small gas cooker, two sufurias, a cup, a plate, and a spoon that doubles as a tea and table spoon. His income may be modest, but he's determined to make it on his own.

However, as the days turn into weeks, and the weeks turn into months, he starts to feel the pangs of hunger. He's not used to cooking for himself, and the thought of facing the kitchen alone is daunting. That's when he starts to rely on hotels and eating out, spending Sh300 every evening, only to feel unsatisfied and hungry.

But there's a turning point. One day, he catches a glimpse of the water used to wash the dishes at his favorite eating spot, and it dawns on him that it's better to cook than to die. He starts to learn the basics of cooking, and to his surprise, he discovers that he's not as helpless as he thought.

Men, it turns out, are capable of cooking, even if they don't have the greatest variety of dishes. They might say that the kitchen is an alien place, but with a little practice, they can become proficient cooks. And it's not just about survival; it's about taking responsibility for one's own life.

So, to all the women out there who are doing all the cooking, take a step back and let your men learn how to cook. It's not about enslaving yourself in the name of love; it's about empowering your partner to take care of himself. And who knows, you might just discover that your man is capable of more than you thought.
