On August 8, 2019, a Kenyan court issued a directive to Governor Ferdinand Waititu, instructing him to stay away from his office.
According to the court's order, EACC officers will escort Waititu to the office to enable him to collect his belongings before he is prohibited from setting foot in the premises until the case is resolved.
