Launched in Nairobi earlier this year, Glovo, the Spain-headquartered on-demand delivery app, has taken the city by storm.
With a simple tap on their smartphone, users can order anything they need, whether it's food, groceries, or gifts for loved ones.
But that's not all - Glovo also offers 'Anything' orders, where a courier will pick up and deliver any item from any store in under an hour.
Founded in Barcelona in 2015, Glovo aspires to be a multi-category lifestyle app, with food delivery being its most popular offering.
According to Priscilla Muhiu, Head of Marketing, Sub Saharan Africa, Glovo has set a high standard for delivery times, aiming to deliver orders within 45 minutes.
“Speed of delivery is one of Glovo’s value proposition and we would like to assure all our customers that we will live up to this promise,” Muhiu said.
With operations in over 20 countries and 100 cities, including Paris, Madrid, and Cairo, Glovo has proven its ability to deliver on its promise of fast and reliable service.
