As the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) team winds up its seating on Friday, Kenyans have until then to present their views on the proposed constitutional changes.
According to the BBI team, the submissions will be used to write its report, which will be presented to the President by the end of September.
On Thursday, the team heard from various groups, including women leaders led by Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru and Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu, who proposed an expansion of the National Executive to create an all-inclusive government.
The women leaders also suggested retaining the positions of the President and Deputy President and allocating half of all elective positions to women.
Other groups that presented their views to the BBI team include the Senate, led by Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula, and the national women steering committee and a group of youth.
Meanwhile, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has dismissed claims that it did not verify the Punguza Mizigo signatures by the Dr Ekuru Aukot-led Thirdway Alliance Party.
IEBC Chairperson Wafula Chebukati stated that the commission did due diligence as required by law.
