As I approach the end of my decade-long column, I'm reminded of the editor's warm words of encouragement, which have motivated me to continue delving into real issues.
Published on August 8, 2019, this column has been a platform for discussing a wide range of topics, from arthritis to relationships and personal growth.
One reader, Veronica, shared her concerns about her husband's jealousy and insecurity, while another, James, sought advice on regaining his sexual performance after the birth of their first child.
Meanwhile, Nina Odongo's advice to 'grin and bear it' was met with criticism, as the author argued that men should learn to carry their emotions without breaking down.
Other topics included Cathy Nabale's journey from being a lawyer to a baker, and Michelle Langi's thoughts on home ownership.
As I reflect on the past nine and a half years, I'm reminded of the importance of pursuing one's dreams, as exemplified by Cathy's willingness to chase her aspirations.
And so, I'll continue to write, inspired by the editor's words and the readers' responses.
