Suzan Makena, a 22-year-old former Miss NIBS, was found dead in the sea on July 31, 2019, in Dubai, marking a tragic end to her life on her birthday.
According to her friend, the post-mortem results from Dubai Police showed that Suzan slipped and drowned.
Makena was a fun-loving and hardworking woman who studied Tourism at the Nairobi Institute of Business Studies town campus.
Her social media posts revealed a resilient spirit, as she once wrote, 'Life is not that simple at times we cry alone, laugh it all out but your labour in God is never and will never be in vain. Just a prayer ….it works,'
