Life as a homosexual, transgender individual, or member of the LGBTQ community in Africa and Kenya is particularly tough, with little to no acceptance and frequent harassment, making everyday tasks a struggle.

LeToya Johnstone, a well-known transgender model and trainer, has spoken out about the difficulties she faces in a heartfelt post.

"When people choose to break you, they find power that can reciprocate their own emptiness," she wrote, highlighting the emotional toll of her experiences.

Johnstone has been subjected to physical and emotional abuse, including being "cut open many times" and "bled on those who never cut me," leaving her feeling numb and exhausted.

"I have begged, cried, tried to be nice and even stayed longer and became the most loyal, yet I am still being cut by the windows of the house I keep building," she wrote, expressing her frustration and desperation.

Johnstone's post has sparked concern for her well-being, with many urging her to seek help and support. Her words serve as a powerful reminder of the challenges faced by LGBTQ individuals in Africa and the need for greater acceptance and understanding.
