Wendy Waeni, a young acrobat, has apologized to comedian Jalang'o for accusing him of running away with her money. The apology came during an appearance on Citizen TV's #JKLive Show, where Waeni spoke about her former manager Joe Mwangi conning her out of millions.
Waeni confessed that her career has been on the decline due to her manager locking her out of her social media accounts and making off with her money. She also apologized to Jalang'o, who she had accused of 'stealing' Ksh 4,500 from her.
Waeni explained that she did not have control over her social media accounts and only heard about the online fight between her and Jalang'o from others. Her manager, Joe Mwangi, was the one who had been fighting Jalang'o, she claimed.
"I'm really sorry, I don't know anything that goes on in that account. I'm really sorry about the story about Jalang'o, I don't know what happened, I just heard that we had an online fight and I hope that won't happen again. All protocols should endorse me, that was not the real me, and anyone who has been offended through my social media accounts," she said.
Waeni's apology comes after she made a series of social media posts in 2017 accusing Jalang'o of refusing to pay her Ksh 4,500 after she performed at a show he hosted on KTN.
