Kenyan contemporary Christian music artist Daddy Owen has been dealing with female admirers for 15 years, a challenge he says he has learned to handle.
His experience has not only helped him but also his wife, Farida Wambui, whom he married in 2016. Before their marriage, he had to educate her on how to deal with such situations.
Speaking to Mpasho, Daddy Owen stated, 'Having female stalkers as a male artiste is normal. I have been in this industry for 15 years and I know how to talk people and handle such things like stalkers.'
He emphasized that stalking is not new to him and does not feel like a challenge. However, he acknowledges that it requires effort to handle such situations.
For Daddy Owen, the key to a successful marriage is self-improvement. He believes that understanding the need to work on oneself is crucial in maintaining a healthy relationship.
He noted, 'The way I used to see my dad behave is not the same way I behave in my house. Marriage is more about communication, marriage is a transition.'
With his experience in the music industry and his commitment to self-improvement, Daddy Owen has learned to navigate the challenges that come with being a public figure.
