Rwanda's Ambassadors of Christ Choir in Mourning ¶
August 7, 2019
The Ambassadors of Christ Choir from Rwanda is in mourning after one of its members, Grace Kavara, left the group suddenly. Kavara, a renowned singer, had gained significant fame in Eastern Africa and was even planning to move to the US for specialized hand surgery.
According to a message posted on Facebook, the choir expressed their sadness and gratitude towards Kavara's contributions to the group. They also wished her a speedy recovery and a new church to join upon her return.
However, the message sparked mixed reactions among fans, with some believing that Kavara had passed away. The choir later clarified that she was alive and had left the group to pursue further education in the US.
Another member of the choir, Emma, has also left to pursue further education in the US, leaving behind a void in the group's sound.
"The family of songs will miss you, your voice will be greatly missed, and no one will fill the gap," the message read.
