A woman working for the Sonko Rescue Team in Nairobi's Kariobangi area lost her life in a tragic incident on August 7, 2019.
Susan, a mother of three, was stabbed four times by an unknown assailant while at work in Kariobangi North.
According to her colleague Mohamed Njeru, the attacker waylaid Susan at her workplace and stabbed her multiple times, resulting in her death.
This is not the first time the suspect has been involved in a violent incident, as Njeru claims he had previously slashed another victim with a panga just a month prior to the incident.
However, the suspect was released without being charged, only to be caught by a mob and frog-marched to the Kariobangi Police Station.
