Twitter Inc is quietly testing a new feature that lets users mute push notifications for a certain period of time, according to a discovery by Jane Manchun Wong, a coder.
Wong found the experimental feature by examining the code underneath Twitter's Android app. The feature includes a built-in bell-shaped snooze button at the top right corner of the notifications tab, which allows users to mute notifications for up to 12 hours.
As Wong tweeted on August 6, 2019, the feature is still in its testing phase and allows users to pause notifications for 1 hour, 3 hours, or 12 hours.
