Published on August 7, 2019, Samsung Galaxy A70 has been selling in Kenya for quite some time now, long enough to be receiving its fourth software update since its debut.

Despite its greatness, Samsung decided not to add the Galaxy A70 to the list of Galaxy devices that receive monthly security updates. Instead, it joins the Galaxy A80, Galaxy A50, and the entire Galaxy A 2019 series in receiving quarterly security updates.

This makes the latest rollout quite a special download for any owner of the Galaxy A70. After this, the next version could take more than three months, so be sure to grab this one.

The update, arriving as version A705FNXXU3ASG6, brings a couple of new camera-related features and improvements. The camera app will now have a dedicated night mode for improved photography during the night.

Additionally, the camera can now become your QR code reader, which is pretty cool. Samsung also says the A70 will enjoy improvements to the overall stability of functions and camera picture quality after installing the update that is rolling out now.

Below is a screengrab of the full changelog as provided by Samsung.
