As Chipukeezy's popularity grew, so did the number of people trying to ride his wave of success. Unfortunately, some of these individuals turned into yes-men, offering little to no genuine support.
However, Eric Omondi stood out as a true friend, not only offering words of encouragement but also putting his money where his mouth was. He fronted Chipukeezy 100,000 shillings to shoot the pilot episode of his show, Chipukeezy Show.
During a recent interview, Chipukeezy expressed his gratitude towards Eric Omondi, saying:
