Published on August 7, 2019, Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Juventus to sign Argentine forward Paulo Dybala for a reported Sh8 billion fee.
However, the deal is contingent on Dybala's image rights being resolved, which is seen as a potential obstacle in the negotiations.
According to reports, Tottenham made an initial enquiry for Dybala last month, but any potential move would depend on the futures of Christian Eriksen and Danny Rose.
Manchester United were also interested in signing Dybala, but ultimately dropped their pursuit due to his hesitation and his agent's demands.
Interestingly, a previous deal had been in place that would have seen Romelu Lukaku join Juventus, with Dybala heading to Old Trafford, but that deal fell through due to Dybala's preference and his failure to agree on personal terms with Manchester United.
With the transfer deadline looming, Manchester United are now reportedly considering a late move for Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen.
