Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku has been training with his former club Anderlecht for the last two days, sparking concerns that he may face a fine for his unauthorized absence.

Lukaku, who is on a £200,000-per-week wage, would be hit with a KSh 50 million (£400,000) fine if he is found to have breached his contract.

The Belgian striker failed to report back to United's training base on Tuesday, August 6, as expected after seeing proposed moves to Inter Milan and Juventus both fall through.

According to a Mirror report, there is belief at United that Lukaku's attempt to force a move away is being plotted by his representatives.

Inter have had two bids of £54million and £68million for Lukaku rejected by the Manchester outfit who are keen to recoup the £75million they paid Everton for the footballer.

Juventus, on the other hand, also failed to secure Lukaku's signature in a deal that would have seen Paulo Dybala switch to Old Trafford.
