Kenyan gospel artiste Jimmy Gait has revealed that he will be traveling to India for treatment of a throat problem that has been affecting him for over a year.

According to an interview with Mpasho, Jimmy will be in India for 15-20 days, undergoing treatment for his throat issue.

Jimmy had been admitted to Aga Khan Hospital for days, undergoing checkups, which were later shared on social media.

He expressed his gratitude to his fans for their overwhelming support and asked them to continue supporting him during this challenging time.

Jimmy also advised those who think he is seeking attention to understand that health issues are not something to joke about.

He had taken to his social media to ask his fans for prayers as he undergoes treatment.

Jimmy's admission comes barely a week after gospel artiste Pitson revealed that doctors had ordered him to keep off singing for a few months after he damaged his voice.
