On August 6, 2017, a daring robbery occurred at Cornstar Maize Millers in Makuyu, where thieves made off with goods valued at Ksh. 2 Million.
According to police, the five suspects - Duncan Kiuhumba, Stephen Ng'ang'a, Patrick Mwangi, Antony Kimani, and Edward Mwangi - were arrested in Utawala and Thome Estates in Nairobi, with the stolen goods recovered.
The suspects allegedly stole 387 bales of Cornstar Flour and other assorted items from the millers.
Three other suspects connected to the robbery had been arrested earlier.
The recovered goods have been secured as exhibits.
