Published on August 7, 2019, a video interview of Diamond Platnumz with Mrisho Mpoto has resurfaced online, shedding light on a previously unknown chapter in the singer's life.
During the interview, Diamond Platnumz revealed that he has a child he does not know much about, a daughter who is around seven years old. He admitted that he doesn't know her name because things went sour with the mother before the child was born.
When asked by Marisho Mpoto how many kids he has, Diamond Platnumz replied, 'I have three kids but I may have four because there was one I fathered 7 years ago before I started dating Wema Sepetu. I was not even told her name. I even do not remember the mother's name, but I met her through singer Linah.'
He further claimed that when he tried to arrange a meeting with his child, his baby mother claimed the little girl had traveled to Japan. He says the lady disappeared from his life when she learned that he was dating Wema Sepetu.
He added that he tried to reach out to the lady on several occasions but she was not answering his calls. 'We met and one thing led to the other. After that, she told me she was pregnant but after that, I met with Wema Sepetu and got confused. I tried to call her but she never answered my calls. I am even aware she gave birth because I tried to reach her after I learned that, but she still did not answer.'
Diamond Platnumz has three children known to the public, two with Zari Hassan and one with Hamisa Mobetto, and is expecting a fourth with Kenyan radio queen Tanasha Donna.
