On August 6, 2019, Nigerian musician Tekno, 26, was arrested in Lagos, Nigeria, for dancing with women in a transparent truck.
The truck, which had glass sides at the back, was stuck in traffic, allowing onlookers to witness the scene.
According to the police, Tekno, whose real name is Augustine Kelechi, was arrested along with two women for conveying 'half-naked girls' around the Lekki area of Lagos.
Commuters were shocked to see Tekno dancing in the truck, with some videos showing him spraying money on the women as they danced.
Outraged residents took to social media, and the state's advertising regulatory agency suspended the firm involved in the advertisement.
However, Tekno denied that the incident was an advertisement for a strip club, stating that they were shooting a music video and had a shortage of vehicles.
The police have said that those arrested could be charged to court after investigations for 'acts of public indecency'.
