Published on August 7, 2019, Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho's recent trip to the US has raised eyebrows, with the governor sharing photos and videos of his time with international celebrities.
One of the most notable encounters was with American socialite Paris Hilton, who Joho met during his visit to Washington DC last month.
According to the Mombasa County Director of Communication and Public Relations, Richard Chacha, Joho's trip was for official business, including meetings with investors to form partnerships.
However, the governor's social media posts suggest a more relaxed atmosphere, with Joho and his entourage, including Tanzanian singer Ommy Dimpoz, enjoying time with Paris Hilton.
It's not the first time Joho has been spotted with Hollywood stars, having met rap star Fat Joe in Dubai in 2016 and being linked to Chris Brown's concert in Mombasa in October 2016, which reportedly cost Sh90 million.
