The Malkia Strikers, the defending African Games champions, will face stiff competition in Pool 'B' of the tournament, which takes place from August 20 to 30, 2019 in Rabat, Morocco.
They will be up against Cameroon, Senegal, and Algeria, a group often referred to as the 'group of death'.
Meanwhile, the men's volleyball competition has seen Morocco, Nigeria, Mauritius, and Botswana grouped together in Pool 'A', while Algeria will face Egypt, Cape Verde, and Cameroon in Pool 'B'.
The draw was conducted on Monday, August 5, 2019 in Morocco, with CAVB representative Okba Gougam and Morocco Volleyball Federation president Bouchra Hajij in attendance.
