Victor Wanyama's Kind Gesture: Providing Food for Kawangware School

On August 6, 2019, Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama made a generous donation to Kawangware School in Kenya, providing food worth KSh 250,000 to support the school's efforts to feed its students.

The donation, which included rice, sugar, water, milk, and cooking oil, was made in response to a request from the school's administration, who had been seeking assistance to feed their students for a month.

According to Alawi Abdul, who represented Wanyama, the request was made before Wanyama's departure from Kenya after participating in the 2019 AFCON tournament.

Wanyama, who has been recovering from a groin injury, has been known for his charitable efforts, and this donation is a testament to his commitment to giving back to his community.

The Kawangware School, which supports vulnerable children and those living in hazardous conditions, has been a recipient of Wanyama's kindness, and this donation is a significant contribution to their efforts.

Wanyama's gesture has been widely appreciated, and it serves as a reminder of the importance of giving back to those in need.
