On August 6, 2019, Captain Kale sparked controversy with his advice to women on how to handle stingy men.
According to Kale, women should not be too quick to dump men who do not support them financially when dating.
He argued that giving a man some time allows you to see what kind of a person he is.
"Ladies, more so single ladies, be wise," Kale said. "Some men are so stingy to girlfriends but very generous to wives. Do not dump him because he is not giving you money when he is dating you, just wait until he is married to you to determine if he is stingy or not."
Kale also claimed that men have become smarter and are only investing in women they are sure they have a future with.
"Men are only investing on a woman he is so sure they have a future with, any other relationship they do not care whether you stay or leave," he said.
He went on to advise women to be smart enough to get away if a man is too stingy, adding that a man is under no obligation to pay their bills.
"If he does, it is a bonus, if he does not, you can as well leave and seek for a sponsor," Kale said. "But again, I agree, there are men who are stingy to their wives. Hey men, if you’re that kind of a man, shame on you, you’re not a man but a boy!"
