With the transfer window deadline fast approaching, Wolverhampton Wanderers are in the market for a central midfielder. According to reports, Wolves should make a shock move for Victor Wanyama's services to bolster their midfield.
Wanyama, a 28-year-old Kenyan midfielder, has been a fringe player at Tottenham Hotspur and is likely to be sold if the right offer comes along. The reports suggest that considering Wanyama is a lot cheaper than Franck Kessie and is arguably a better player with plenty of Premier League experience, Wolves should not hesitate to make him their top transfer target this summer.
Wanyama has already made 387 appearances for club and country, including a stint at Southampton under Mauricio Pochettino, who he reunited with at White Hart Lane in 2016 after a £11million move.
