On Sunday, 4 August 2019, Mr David Ngugi Gakuru, a 52-year-old man, died at the Nakuru Level Five Hospital after being rushed for treatment by his neighbours.
According to the hospital's medical superintendent, Dr Joseph Mburu, the man had sustained injuries on the head and other parts of his body.
Dr Mburu confirmed that a post-mortem examination would be conducted to ascertain the real cause of death.
The man's wife, who was allegedly drunk at the time of the incident, has since been arrested and taken to Bondeni police station.
