TV celebrity couple Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdalla have just celebrated 10 years of marriage, a milestone they have achieved while raising two boys and a baby girl.
Speaking to Word Is, Lulu revealed how she manages to juggle between work and family, crediting their house helps for their support.
“Our house helps have helped me in raising my kids, and that is how I can juggle between work and family,” she said.
According to Lulu, how employers treat their house helps makes all the difference, and she and her husband have made a conscious effort to include their house helps in their family activities, even going on holidays together.
“Like for us, we do everything together, including going for holidays,” Lulu revealed.
When asked about her marriage, Lulu shared that the journey has been great because they are friends more than husband and wife.
She also noted that they have no plans to get another child, and that the key to their successful marriage is learning to understand each other and solving issues before going to sleep.
“To the young people, don’t get married since you see my marriage as perfect, but instead know what you want to achieve from that marriage because people are different,” she said.
