On August 4, 2019, a devastating mass shooting occurred in El Paso, Texas, leaving a trail of death and destruction in its wake. The El Paso Police Department released a list of names of the dead on Monday, although in some cases families and the Mexican consulate provided different spellings.
Among the victims were Andre Pablo Anchondo, 23, and his wife Jordan Anchondo, 24, who were killed while protecting their son. The young couple had celebrated their first anniversary just a week before the tragedy and had moved into a home painstakingly renovated by Andre.
