On August 4, 2019, a domestic dispute turned deadly in Visiru village, Vihiga County, when a 36-year-old woman allegedly stabbed her husband to death.
According to reports, the couple had a disagreement on Saturday night after the husband, Patrick Salano, returned home with another woman.
The argument escalated on Sunday, resulting in the woman grabbing a knife and stabbing her husband four times on the chest, killing him instantly.
Confirming the incident, Vihiga OCPD Justine Nyaga stated that police are investigating the matter.
Salano's body was taken to Vihiga Referral Hospital mortuary for further examination.
